Component 3 : Diama-Rosso Road Iink : Objectives • Provide higher economie and safety conditions of access to the right bank ; • Open up delta landlocked agro-sylvo-pastoral areas that also present a high development potential; • Ensure on the one hand, territorial continuum through a permanent link between two OMVS member countries, namely: Senegal and Mauritania and, on the other hand, establish a Iink to North Africa through the only permanent crossing structure, namely the Diama Hydraulic Complex Infrastructure to be constructed or rehabilitated: • construction of over 94 km of surfaced road Constuct ion Cost of Component 3 stands at : CFA.F 35.159 billion, corresponding to US$78.122 Million. Component 4: Labé-Tougué-Dinguiraye-Siguiri Road link Objectives • To open up the dam sites of the so-called 2 nd generation structures, (Koukoutamba, Boureya and Balassa); • To establish a road- Iink between the surfaced international Conakry - Bamako Ml road and the navigable upper reach of the Niger River from Siguiri / Kouroussa to Bamako, with a view to fostering regional economic integration and de– velopment Infrastructure to be constructed: • In the first stage, construction of some 224 km of surfaced road out of a total 480 km long distance ; Construction cost of Component 4 stands at: CFA.F 31.781 billion corresponding to U.S. $ 70.624 Million
